Dice 100g of bacon and 600g of beef steak into small, bite-sized pieces.

In a large pot, fry the bacon over medium heat until crispy, then remove and set aside.

In the same bacon fat, brown the beef steak pieces until deep brown, about 7 minutes.

Add 1 chopped onion and 3 minced garlic cloves to the pan, cooking until softened, about 4 minutes.

Return the bacon to the pot and add 400g of cooked pinto beans.
