eatmundo for business

Behind every page on eatmundo sits a dataset no one else publishes: nearly 2,000 dishes from 26 cuisines in 7 languages, every ingredient linked to a canonical entity, and a scored equivalence graph that connects each dish to its counterparts in other cuisines — with the shared ingredients as evidence. If your product works with food, we can license it.

What we license

Equivalence graph and ingredient data
Dish-to-dish equivalences across cuisines with their ingredient evidence, and canonical ingredients aligned across seven languages. Delivered as files and refreshed on an agreed schedule.
API access
The engine behind our public MCP server — similar dishes, side-by-side comparisons, ingredient substitutions under dietary constraints, weekly menus — on commercial terms for production use.
Recipe content
Recipe text, steps and dish stories in seven languages. Site content is free to quote with attribution but not to republish in bulk; this licence covers commercial reuse.

Where it fits

  • Grocery and meal kits: “You have the ingredients for this dish — here are its cousins from three other cuisines.”
  • Recipe and nutrition apps: cross-cuisine recommendations and diet-aware substitutions.
  • Menu and content localisation: dish and ingredient names that line up across seven languages.
  • AI assistants: grounded, citable food knowledge instead of guesses from memory.

Try it free first

The MCP server is open — no account, no key — and the aggregate ingredient-overlap dataset is published under CC BY 4.0. Both are a good way to judge the data before you talk to us.

How it is made: the corpus is produced with language models and passes automated consistency checks; we document the method on request.
