Lazy Dumplings with Sauerkraut

Boil 20 dough squares (lazy dumplings) in salted water for 3 minutes and drain.

Finely chop 300g sauerkraut and 1 large onion.

Fry 100g diced bacon in 1 tbsp lard in a large pan until crisp.

Add the chopped onions to the pan and sauté until golden brown.

Stir in the sauerkraut and 0.5 tsp caraway seeds, cooking for 15 minutes.

Toss the drained dumplings into the pan with the sauerkraut mixture.
